  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup cold butter
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 pound turkey bacon
  • 1/2 pound chicken ham
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour (for gravy)
  • 2 cups milk (for gravy)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Add milk gradually until a soft dough forms.
  5. Turn onto a floured surface and roll out to 1-inch thickness.
  6. Cut into rounds and place on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. In a skillet, cook turkey bacon and chicken ham until browned.
  9. Remove meat and add flour for gravy, stirring until smooth.
  10. Slowly add milk, stirring constantly, until thickened.
  11. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  12. Serve biscuits warm, topped with gravy and meat.
