A delicious and comforting Blueberry French Toast Casserole that makes breakfast easy and enjoyable for everyone.

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf bread, cubed
  • 2 cups fresh blueberries
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, cream, sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon.
  3. Layer the cubed bread and blueberries in a greased baking dish.
  4. Pour the egg mixture over the bread and blueberries, making sure to soak all the bread.
  5. Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown and set.
  6. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Serve warm with maple syrup.
  • Can be prepared the night before and baked in the morning.
