A flavorful soup combining the richness of potatoes with the smokiness of turkey bacon and chicken ham.

Ingredients

  • 4 large potatoes
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, add onion and garlic, sauté until translucent.
  3. Add chopped potatoes and chicken ham. Stir for a few minutes.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender.
  5. Blend the soup until smooth, then return to low heat.
  6. Stir in heavy cream and Cajun seasoning. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
  7. Serve hot, topped with crispy turkey bacon.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add more Cajun seasoning.
  • Can be made vegetarian by omitting meats and using vegetable broth.
