Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken thighs
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup diced carrots
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups biscuit dough

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken thighs in the crockpot.
  2. Add chicken broth, carrots, peas, onion, garlic, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4 hours.
  4. In the last 30 minutes of cooking, tear biscuit dough into pieces and drop into the crockpot.
  5. Cover and continue to cook until the biscuits are fluffy and cooked through.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use bone-in chicken thighs.
  • Feel free to add your favorite vegetables such as celery or corn.
