A delicious vegetarian dish featuring layers of zucchini, ricotta, and marinara sauce.

Ingredients

  • 3 medium zucchinis
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the zucchinis into thin rounds.
  3. In a baking dish, layer half of the zucchini slices at the bottom.
  4. Spread half of the ricotta cheese over the zucchini.
  5. Add half of the marinara sauce.
  6. Sprinkle with half of the mozzarella cheese.
  7. Repeat the layering process with the remaining ingredients.
  8. Top with grated Parmesan cheese.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Notes

  • You can use any marinara sauce you like.
  • For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes.
