A delicious twist on the classic green bean casserole with turkey bacon, perfect for holidays or family dinners.

  • 1 pound fresh green beans
  • 4 ounces turkey bacon
  • 1 cup cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup French fried onions
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook turkey bacon in a skillet until crispy, then crumble it.
  3. Blanch green beans in boiling water for 5 minutes, then drain.
  4. In a large bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, and half of the French fried onions.
  5. Add the blanched green beans and crumbled turkey bacon to the mixture. Stir to combine.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a casserole dish and top with the remaining French fried onions.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until hot and bubbly.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian option, omit the turkey bacon.
  • You can use canned green beans if fresh are not available.
