A delicious twist on the classic carbonara, featuring turkey bacon and chicken ham.

Ingredients

  • 200 grams turkey bacon
  • 150 grams chicken ham
  • 300 grams spaghetti
  • 4 large eggs
  • 100 grams grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 50 milliliters olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions.
  2. In a pan, heat olive oil and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add the turkey bacon and chicken ham, cooking until crispy.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together eggs and Parmesan cheese.
  5. Drain the spaghetti, reserving some pasta water.
  6. Combine spaghetti with the meat mixture, then remove from heat.
  7. Quickly stir in the egg mixture, adding reserved pasta water as needed to create a creamy sauce.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, add more cheese.
  • Use pancetta instead of turkey bacon for a traditional taste.
