2 pounds chicken thighs
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup soy sauce
3 tablespoons butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 cups elbow macaroni
3 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
2 cups milk
1/4 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
In a large bowl, mix the honey, soy sauce, butter, garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
Add the chicken thighs and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Cook the macaroni according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
In a saucepan, melt 2 tablespoons of butter, stir in flour, and cook for 1 minute.
Add milk gradually while stirring, then bring to a simmer until thickened.
Stir in cheddar cheese until melted, then mix in the cooked macaroni.
In a heated skillet, cook the marinated chicken over medium heat until golden and cooked through.
Serve the chicken with the mac and cheese on the side.
