Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 2 cups finely chopped cabbage
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon corn starch
  • 1 package dumpling wrappers
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix ground chicken, cabbage, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, and corn starch until well combined.
  2. Lay out dumpling wrappers and place a small scoop of the filling in the center of each wrapper.
  3. Moisten the edges of the wrappers with water, fold in half, and press to seal.
  4. In a skillet over medium heat, add vegetable oil and place dumplings in the skillet, frying until golden brown on one side.
  5. Add a splash of water to the skillet, cover, and steam the dumplings for 3-5 minutes until cooked through.
  6. Remove the lid and let the dumplings crisp up before serving.

Notes

  • Serve with soy sauce or a dipping sauce of your choice.
  • Can substitute ground chicken with pork or shrimp if desired.
