  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Form mixture into meatballs and place them in the slow cooker.
  3. Pour marinara sauce over the meatballs, covering them completely.
  4. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  5. In the last 30 minutes, sprinkle shredded mozzarella over the meatballs and cover to allow cheese to melt.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add chopped fresh herbs such as basil or parsley.
